10.1.1 New Headband SensorsAfter nearly a year in the making we have finally taken receipt of our new headband sensor system made by Advanced Combat. The new system offers a greater range and double the sensitivity of our earlier version. The new gear will really enhance the game play for sure.
The old system was made by potting the sensors into a resin shell. This created air bubbles that interfered with the gun signal and made some contacts with the enemy a pain. The new system incorporates a specially designed polycarbonate dome, this removes all the imperfections and can withstand a bench crush up to 300kg, not to mention being waterproof.
The Headband's webbing has also been 100% redesigned by British Tactical (SF Gear company), it’s now a two part assembly allowing us to change the camouflage pattern within seconds. The inner band is made from neoprene, it's adjustable and comfortable. The whole set is 100% Mil-Spec and is a significant advancement towards where Warfighters are heading as a simulations company as opposed to being a Laser Tag provider.

So, if your planning a return game at Warfighters the new gear will really improve your game. Get them kills in!
10.1.2 Gun Software Upgrade
We have just installed one of our rifles with a new software upgrade. The new software offers two preset player modes. Standard: Easy mag loading and fire selection for beginners
Pro: Normal weapon loading and fire selection procedure - only for the trained
The new software also features an automatic reload function, so reloading your magazines between games is way faster, and should allow for an extra game mission within the day.
Pairing has also been achieved, this will make a huge difference to our more advanced Ghost Recon events as players will at some stage be able to carry multiple weaponry, for instance a sniper could also be equipped with a SMG for close quarter encounters.
Reporting is also available, our demo unit will provide the numbers of round in the rifle, batterie life, life indication among other features.
Testing will be conducted for a month, if it works without blowing anything up we will upgrade each rifle from March onwards.
10.1.3 New Upgraded Scopes On Test
New scopes are on test. The current reflex sites we have been using fog up during the action if it's cold of wet. Which is now becoming a all-year round thing. Our overseas friends at Spartan Imports USA have thrown us a new scope to trail.
It's rather nice as the scope is powered by a single AA Battery, features 3 modes of receptacle, two colours choices (Green/Red) and three brightness settings with zero parallax. Tests in the Garden and in the Shower are proving to be fine!

10.1.4 MAGPUL ACR (Adaptive Combat Rifle) AC-ES Version in production
Magpul Industries Inc have agreed to support our laser training rifle development for Law Enforcement and Military applications. Expect to see a number of official real deal MAGPUL MASADA in the armoury. WF Ghost members can sign these babies out and create a hell storm in the field.

The frame is constructed from a very strong DuPont reinforced polymer with CNC serialized 6063 aluminum alloy upper receiver. Milled into the top of the receiver is a 37 slot, continuous, military spec 1913 rail for mounting your favorite optics. Two version are available, standard M4 type lower or AK style. Naturally Magpul’s PMAG system will also be converted to accompany this awesome bit of kit.

10.1.5 Layout Change
The old OPS room was knocked down in late 2009 to allow us to have more gaming space. That area is now being prepared to use. During February we are completely changing the Kill House layout. All rooms and corridors will be altered to provide you with our most exciting tactical challenge to date.
10.1.6 New Tactical Gear
New kit is in production. The armour is based on our Opposing Force armour and will be quicker to kit up and take off. Test units are on route, so you may be one of the first to model it for us if you are playing during Feb.
10.1.7 Advanced Games
If you have ever attended a game at the Kill House you know first hand how intense it plays. Yet there is another level up from the standard format we use. If you fancy a return visit with the opportunity of playing along side some of our very best players feel free to request the access code to attend. Don’t worry, you won’t be used as cannon fodder, the pro players will incorporate you within their teams so you can improve your skills.
10.1.8 It's Official Splinter Cell
Ubisoft has now endorsed our conviction game under the Splinter Cell franchise. We are attempting to make a new protective armour based on the console game to bring us in line with the forthcoming release. Buy it and come and play it in the flesh. If you live locally to WarFighters be sure to come and play at the weekends and kill someone with love and paint.

10.1.11 After 2 years of pestering from the under 16's community we have commissioned a Laser Tag system aimed at our younger customers. The system will be available to buy, so you can shoot each other in the garden nice and safely.
We are also going to offer a special all-in game called CADET FORCE at our Opposing Force paintball site during summer holidays and selected Saturday mornings. More details will follow in next months newsletter.
Please note THIS IS NOT the same equipment that we use for our Recon X or Ghost Recon events.

A big thank you to the team at COSTCO Milton Keynes for allowing us to promote WarFighters to 3,000 of their customers on Sunday 31st Jan.
A little surreal, a fully equipped missile launching, heavy machine gun packing gun bus parked outside together with BMW show cars.
Fully armoured Rainbow Six Kill House member with ballistic room entry shield, HMG’s SMG’s, grenades and paintball markers had shoppers stopping in their tracks.
