Topic: RAP4 & RAP 5 - 3 repliesOriginal Message Post # 1 Mon 14th Dec 2009 15:50
Hi to everyone. This is my first post so be nice. I've never played any Mil-Sim related games, but I do have a collections of Real Action Markers, 2 mp5's M4, and M16 203, plus several pistols. Are these really no good for these WarFighter games? I've had mine for the last 3 years now, used regularly with mates, and not really had many problems with these. Just me? Maybe.... Any way, what sort of paintball guns do you lot use, whats the most popular? I chose RAP4 because they seem to be the most realistic. Bad choice maybe. Any advice would be great, a few mates and myself are looking into an outing at WarFighters in around February, maybe I'll see a few of you there? Thanks. Seeing as no-one's replied on this yet, I'll just tell you what little I know. I can't comment for sure on all of their weapons, but I use a T68 MK3 (Gen 3) as my sidearm in paintball and it works a treat, even if it eats CO2. Naturally, weapons like Tippmann's, BT's and Smart Parts are always going to come out on top, but if you're on a budget (and if the pistol is anything to go by) then RAP4's kit might not be such a bad choice.
Others will probably know more about this than I do, especially seeing as it's primary weapons that I think you're interested in. Dunno if you can use them at WF anyway now though, I think it's limited to "house" weapons so that the game stays fair and balanced for everyone, you'd be better off asking one of the GHOSTs. :)
Hi Shift Wolf,
we no longer use RAP4 for any of our Warfighters events. They can cut you up pretty bad up close, which isnot too good for business. The only time we allow the use of any Xpower/RAP type product is on our Pro-Days in the Kill House. You would need to attend one of our standard games before being invited to play at the next level. As to other gear(.68) it must be powered down to 200fps, we will Chrono on site for you proir to the game. player safety first, excellent game play second
Leading Milsim Action Gaming. Accept no other! That's a good policy. :)
Thanks for clearing this up!
