2010 is nearly upon us, so we have decided with all the changes to our business that’s its time for a new image.
Firstly we have commissioned a website change for Feb. Navigation is being simplified, and event information will be easier to find, including down loadable brochures.
The most significant visual change is our logo. The old Metal Mickey mask has been booted out and replaced with a new groovy skull. Expect to see some supporting products in the way of T-Shirts, patches and bikini’s invade the WarFighters store over the next few months.
Market First - You Want Your Own Rifle!
Would you like to own your own laser rifle? Until now it’s been impossible for anyone to acquire their own personal laser gun. Even the nasty old laser-taggers are not available to the open market.
Well, that’s no longer the case. WarFighters will be offering you the opportunity to buy your own kit right off the shelve. We’ve teamed up with ARES airsoft to ensure a quality build. The first model to be released is the iconic British army L85/SA80 assault rifle. Production begins in February with an estimated retail of around £550.00
ARES officially licensed Tavor-21 / H&K UMP will follow. Naturally you will be able to attend any WarFighters event with your own rifle at a reduced Walk-On fee. More details and a Store listing will follow.

Military - Love It
True, our simulated laser training systems have been picked up by the military. At this stage we can’t disclose who, national security or something.
The real point is we have moved away from the Laser-Tag market, which has always been in our mind an over rated kids party. We now have the worlds most advanced recreational laser system, and a Milspec version that stands up to the big guys.

Army Maneuvers
We have been making our site available to the British army for some time now. This is still the case, only we are intending to boost the area somewhat. This will include the introduction of a FIBUA - Fighting In Built Up Areas site being introduced in late 2010 to the Water Treatment site. We are also implementing a number of smaller buildings, huts throughout the 1,400 acre area. Naturally our normal gaming events will benefit. So expect to see something new each time you attend.

Fighting Vehicles
We are amassing some very nice Land Rover Gun-buses at our Onley site. We aim to convert the weapons systems to laser during 2010. We are building a few versions. Weapons include MILAN missile launchers, GPMG and the odd .50cal. Expect to see a specialised vehicle only game emerge at some point in 2010 at two venues. Northants and Kent. Yummy!
Also all game events based on GHOST RECON (Not ReconX) will include vehicles as standard within the game price. Be sure to check back for more details.
Modern Warfare 2
WarFighters were drafted in by Infinity Ward to assist in the UK launch of Modern Warfare 2.
The event made history as being the biggest promotion ever for a console game. The hype was outstanding, we ran 24 soldiers, 2 vehicles, HMG nests and even a Missile system over 3 venues. The launch was a huge success generating some nice exposure for us. We would like to thank everyone within the WarFighter's community who took part to make this run smoother than a lightsaber cutting through a pet sheep.

Open Your Own WarFighters Field
We are looking for like-minded people who would like to fly the WarFighters brand. You will need an investment fund of between £15 - 30k depending on what weapon platform you go with. Until now we have not been able to expand due to the limited availability of our laser systems. WarFighter Field owners get access to our new range of military specification equipment, including a whole array of extra’s including Claymores and machine guns. WarFighters Store
You may have noticed that we have neglected the store of late. This is for a number of reasons. The credit crunch, exchange rates, suppliers and other business demands.
From Feb 2010 the store will be re-vamped, we will be introducing some new brands from the USA and increasing our range of TRU-SPEC apparel.
New Head Sensors
We have them! After a very dragging 10 months our new military spec sensor headband system is finished. Units are in production as we speak. The new gear really picks up the laser signal reducing near miss and Lucky-B mode. Expect to get killed a lot quicker. Units are being added weekly.
