Quick Look-Ups Age Limit

Well, WarFighters is about taking part in exciting Police and Military themed events. 
We aim to provide an experience which is above the norm, so you can expect only the best equipment and game play.

Firstly and most importantly WarFighters is about you!
We want you to have fun and really enjoy what we have to offer. We aim to delivery quality events that present excellent value for money and will leave you wanting to return again and again.

We hate hidden costs. Our policy is simple, what you see on the label is what you get. Our pricing is all-inclusive and it won't cost you a penny more to attend and play. We do offer the option to "Pimp" your equipment up at little, but it's not necessary to do so.

 

Our Staff
Friendly, but slightly warped.  Some are former instructors with military or police backgrounds, others are home grown from our community. Our website looks to be more suited towards the hardcore types but it's not . This is not the army and we don't shout at you.

How Old Do I have To Be. Age Restrictions
It' s not fair to mix in younger players with mature psychopaths. So we don't. You have to be 16 yrs+ to attend. Kids parties are not our bag so we would rather you take them to the zoo for the day. Any  young scamps  that we think are trying to pull the wool over our eyes will be asked to produce proof of age, if not they will be asked to leave, especially the eight year olds with drawn on beards. We get a ton of emails a day asking us to bend the rules - sorry it's our law.

Game play
We offer two types of game play. Laser based and projectile based.

Laser Combat
We use the best IR system going. It's completely harmless and transmits an invisible signal between the weapons and players. IR is fantastic for outdoor gaming as massive distances can be reached making the games very realistic. Our equipment is not old fashioned Laser-Tag junk.

Projectiles
Well some people just love a little pain. We offer some great CQB action using a mixture of Airsoft and Paintball markers. To reduce the pain factor we operate our TAC-BALL session with limited amounts of ammunition . Also as best practise we issue you with protective armour, webbing and gloves. Don't be put off with the risk of being punished by solid rounds. Our projectile games deliver adrenal pumping action that you will actually enjoy.

 

Can I wear My Own Gear
Yes, we hate doing the washing as it is.

Can I bring My Own Weapons
No. Or maybe, if you contact us before hand we may let you. No stupid hyper-power mega FPS custom jobs. If you wanna shoot our customers with high powered guns in order to hurt them expect us to drag you a few miles behind one of the HUMVEE's.

Discounts - Deposits
We offer excellent pricing and Hi-Tec equipment. You can also earn up to 10% discount by buying your places in bulk. Please don't ask for anymore money off as we have overheads to pay, families to feed and girlfriends to by clothes for. Check out the bookings page for current pricing.
We don't do deposites or pay on the day. We only have limited places per event that are in demand.

What time should  you arrive?
Please be onsite at least 15 mins before the game starts. Anyone who is late makes the whole group late. W e have an important Weapons induction, Health & Safety briefing  to get through. Please realize that you could be wasting other paying customers time.

Refreshments, Sunbeds and Hot tubs
Please don't expect to be visiting the Hilton. We work on reduced gaming fees and players to ensure quality. Our operations have basic functional facilities. We have changing rooms, toilets and free Tea & Coffee for you to drink in the OPS room. Most people bring a packed lunch with them since our cook died of food poisoning .

Game Information, Missions And Scenarios
Sorry but we don't want to tell you much about it. You will be playing a number of scenarios throughout your event for which we have listed the themes on the event pages. It's pointless spoiling the plot. So please just trust us, we do this every week and our customers love the format.

Teams
We split all the players into teams. This is usually on a 50/50 basis. If you are playing with a group we can do our best to keep you on the same side, unless you  really hate your mates.

Stag, Birthday Parties & Clans
We love to accommodate groups and some of our best games have been a result of a birthday, Clan or stag party. We get asked a lot if we can arrange something special for the stag. Run him over with a Tank, cover him in treacle and let hungry Dobermans lick him silly, strip him naked and fire paintballs at his family jewels etc. In a nutshell the answer is no.

Booking s and Deposits
We don't do deposits sorry. If you would like us to reserve a game for you we can. This will give you the opportunity to buy your places in advance before someone else. We can reserve a game date for 7 days, after that any places that have not been purchased are made available again.  Its only fair that if we hold the places for you that you buy them.

Refunds
We don't refund. So make sure you can attend before booking. Open places can be purchased within 24hrs of a game operation should you prefer to chance it. We can relocate places to an alterative date as long as it's 4 weeks prior to the date. We only operate with a limited amount of places so if we fail to fill each place we loose to money.

Do the guns make a bang?
Yes, our IR weapons play loud sound samples from the Xbox version of Ghost Recon.

How Long does the Event last?
The event time includes induction time and weapon issue. Games last between 20-30 minutes depending on the group playing. Missions run until the event has finished. Expect to play at least 8 games.

How Many Players Attend?
We run at low numbers as we prefer to offer quality rather than chaos and overcrowding.

Family and Friends
We don't have any facility for people to wait around due to site security. There are no spectators allowed.

Weather
We play in the rain (outdoor games). Extreme weather may reduce the game play. We also have event cancellation insurance for peace of mind.

Additional Information
You will need to be physically fit to attend, but not a superman.  Outdoor games involve covering a fair amount of mixed terrain. 

What's Included?
All your tactical equipment, ammo and weapon.  No footwear is supplied. We do keep a good stock of new boots on site that you can purchase.
